Ohhhh goodness, I probably should have checked the date on that journal entry of yours hahaha. My bad, but yay! Still one more year lol
I totally get you. I can't write unless the sentences have a flow to them. If going from one idea to the next sounds too abrupt, I find some sort of transition. Which, I've noticed, you do amazingly as well!
Haha, yeah I was lucky enough to happen upon Autumn after you had come back from a long break so I wasn't too upset by your off-and-on antics
Mine will be a three book series too!
Do you live in the US? Because just a tip from what I've seen through the interwebs... I read that most young adult novels are 40,000-80,000 words (like around 300 or so pages) and that most publishing companies won't touch you if you are a new author trying to submit more than 100,000 words. If you've been published before, then the agency is more willing to accept it (like Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was only 75,000 words (Rowling was a new author), but then Goblet of Fire was 190k, and Order of the Phoenix was 257k).
BUT. If you don't give a damn about publishers and are going to self-publish then MORE POWER TO YOU, DO WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANT. lol
Sometimes it sucks to be limited by the restraints of companies and editors so that's always a grand option.
As far as the story, I've been working on mine since I was 14 but just started writing it last year (I originally wanted it to be a manga). I wish I could actually take the time and develop/know my characters but for some reason that's a bit harder for me to do. I tend to picture them in my mind and take their dialogue and actions one sentence at a time. That might bite me later, but oh well!
yay! I hope you like my stuff! I would post more comics of my sess/rin doujinshi but I'm too focused on my book at the moment
